Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), vide its notice dated 14th July 2025, has extended the deadline for filing quarterly and annual returns under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 for the Financial Year 2024–25.
The timeline for submitting these returns, originally set for 30th June 2025, is now extended to 15th August 2025.
All registered entities on the EPR E-Waste Portal are required to complete their filings by this revised deadline. Returns should be submitted via the official portal.
Failure to file within the extended timeline may result in appropriate action under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
During this extension period, the generation and transfer of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Certificates will continue to operate on the EPR Portal without interruption.
